Impact report

We are committed to providing our stakeholders with accurate and reliable data on the impact of our activities on society and the environment.

At FM Logistic, we strongly believe in the importance of sustainable logistics. In 2018, we started an ambitious sustainability programme based on three pillars: taking care of our employees, changing the environmental footprint of our operations and co-designing a sustainable supply chain. This programme is the result of collective work, internally and externally. It is implemented in all countries where our group operates. Since 2019, FM Logistic reports on the main impacts of the company’s activity on the economy, society (jobs, health, education, …) and the environment (greenhouse gas emissions and air pollution, …). This information is published in an interactive report that highlights the solutions we are implementing. We want to make a difference and take action for sustainable logistics and supply chain management.

Sustainable performance

Objectives

Reducing the accident rate is one of our top priorities.
Our current frequency rate is 13.6.

Achievements

As a people-oriented company, we are proud of our exceptional workforce. That’s why we are committed to an employee satisfaction rate of 80%.
We are committed to achieving:
- -12% of energy consumed (baseline 2018).  We have achieved -17% by 2020.
- -20% reduction in carbon footprint in warehouses (2018 baseline). 70% of our 2020 target was achieved.
- -70% of Euro 5 and above flows (2018 baseline). We have achieved 80% of our target in 2020.
- -30% carbon footprint reduction in transport.
We aim to have 100% of our customers equipped with a sustainable development SD dashboard. This target was achieved in 2019.
We have also set another ambitious permanent target which we work towards every day: we want 20% of our turnover to be generated by sustainable offers.
In addition, the United Nations (UN) has defined 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) that represent the main societal and environmental challenges to be addressed by 2030. FM Logistic has identified the priority SDGs for its sector and activities. Our sustainable development policy must contribute to meeting the following challenges:
